Well, it's that time of year again. Shortly after our gathering last year, Tia Juana's closed their doors so we've been looking for a new venue ever since. Our get together this year is Thursday, Dec. 6 ~ 4:30 PM at the Citrus Cafe in Tustin, which depending on the accuracy of the Mayan calendar, could be the last. Personally, I'm betting we'll be getting together again in 2013, but just in case, come on out and say good-bye to everyone. If you remember where the Barn used to be, the Citrus Cafe is directly across Red Hill. There's plenty of free parking and they have good food, wine and beer (no hard liquor). Thanks as always to John Luttrell and BasisMedia for hosting our site as well as maintaining it--it really wouldn't be what it is without John's tireless efforts. I heard from Mike Barber a few months ago saying that he and Juanita Garcia would be coming down. I also heard from Webb Braughton saying there's a possibility that he and Terry Johnson would be making an appearance. Attention members who worked for Microdata and subsequently McDonnell Douglas. I recently completed the process of requesting my retirement from Boeing for the years that I worked for Microdata and McDonnell Douglas. I hope the following information will be helpfully for others that are eligible to receive these benefits. Mailing Address: Boeing Pension Service Center For pension assistance, contact Boeing Total/Access at 1-866-473-2016 and select "Pension". Pension Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 9:00am until 8:00pm Eastern time, excluding holidays. If eligible, you can start receiving you payments on the first day of the month that you turn 65. If your not sure if you qualify, give them a call and ask them to check for you. Cleaning for a Reason |

If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating "maid service" in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care.
