To Family and Friends, We would like to extend an invitation to celebrate and morn the passing of Charles Henry Hans Gundelach. He was called home by the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 6:00 a.m. He was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon. He was diagnosed on Friday with an advanced stage of asbestos cancer. He was in surgery from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, with no success. He was never in any pain and did not wake up from the surgery. At 4:00 p.m. on Sunday there will be a short memorial service at our ranch in Placerville. We would appreciate it if you would arrive no earlier than 3:30 p.m. For those that would like to view the body, the Chapel of the Pines has made that available from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2007.
